AxisGIS Integration with Catalis AP5 Expands Mapping and Spatial Analysis for Assessors
Catalis has announced a new partnership with CAI Technologies to connect AxisGIS with Catalis AP5, its computer-assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) solution.
Built on the latest ESRI technology stack, the integration enables communication between AP5 and AxisGIS, allowing users to search, select, and analyze property data across both systems.
The combined solution brings mapping and spatial analysis into assessment workflows, including spatially generated selections, abutter queries with reporting, thematic mapping, and parcel identification.
“This partnership expands how assessment teams view their AP5 CAMA data merged with their GIS data attributes,” said Jim McCathern, VP of Sales, Catalis Tax & CAMA. “By connecting GIS and CAMA in a more direct and usable way, assessment professionals can improve CAMA data review, which streamlines analysis and supports property tax burden fairness by visually auditing data field inconsistencies that influence property valuations.”
CAI Technologies brings deep GIS expertise to the partnership through AxisGIS, a web-based mapping solution designed to help local governments manage and access geographic information more effectively.
“This integration gives assessors a more connected way to work with parcel, property, and spatial data,” said Tim Fountain, GISP, Vice President, CAI Technologies. “By bringing AxisGIS and Catalis AP5 together, local governments can improve access to the mapping tools and information they rely on every day.”
The integration supports both ArcGIS Online for cloud-based deployments and ArcGIS Enterprise for jurisdiction-hosted environments, giving agencies flexibility to align with their operational and IT requirements.
Additional GIS capabilities include layer control, basemap configuration, measurement tools, markup, map sharing, print layouts, Google Street View integration, and quick print options.
