Scott Roza

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Scott has overall responsibility for corporate strategy, company culture, and operational execution at Catalis. He is passionate about building high-performing teams and building innovative products that deliver exceptional value to customers and their user communities.

Scott brings years of executive experience having held CEO, President, and other senior sales leadership roles at software and fintech companies including TIBCO, Clearwater Analytics, Guidewire Software, and Skytap.

Scott started his business career at McKinsey & Co, after graduate school at MIT. He is a distinguished marine engineering graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and spent five years as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.

Brian Downs

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Brian leads core finance, treasury, tax, and HR functions at Catalis. He brings 18+ years of deep experience in software and integrated payments. He is well known for scaling and developing best-in-class finance teams, corporate strategy, and development. Prior to Catalis, Brian was CFO at Updater Technologies and SVP of Finance and Treasury at Shift4.

Scott Forbes

Chief Product Officer

With 30+ years of experience in Enterprise software and professional services, Scott brings a blend of business innovation and discipline to support innovation in product development and go-to-market focus to Catalis. Prior to his current role, Scott served as EVP of Product at Calero Software, VP of Services at Coriant, and Senior Director of Services at Alcatel Lucent.

Jeff Hess

Chief Operating Officer

As COO, Jeff leads our key operational initiatives focused on optimizing Catalis’ integrated suite to deliver more consistency, scale, and create a platform for driving growth. With 35+ years in enterprise software, Jeff excels in operational excellence, go-to-market strategy, and business transformation. With his ability to drive strategy to execution, Jeff is pivotal to Catalis’ continued success and future growth.

Formerly a Chief Customer Officer at major enterprise software firms, Jeff specializes in enhancing customer experiences and implementing value-based sales and realization processes. His background includes key roles at Mimecast, TIBCO, BMC, SAP, and years of leadership roles in the Management Consulting industry.

Jeff holds a BChE from the University of Delaware and an MBA in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Pat Harper

Chief Technology Officer

For more than 30 years, Pat has led a broad cross-section of B2B/B2C IT strategies across multiple disciplines including enterprise business systems, global information security systems, threat assessment and management, risk and governance analysis, security and compliance, cloud, and digital transformation initiatives. Pat was most recently COI/Global Executive Leader with PGi.

Irene Wolfe

SVP of Human Resources

Irene brings 30 years of experience in HR, including as an employment attorney and in HR leadership positions. Irene’s career began as an attorney with the renowned Canadian law firm, Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt. She then served as the first in-house labor and employment counsel for the City of Toronto before relocating to the United States. Her HR experience has been in all areas of the employee life cycle, as well as organizational design, workforce planning, and employee engagement. Irene is a trusted partner to leadership teams and brings her knowledge and experience from the healthcare industry, as well as sports and entertainment. She also served as Executive VP of HR for the ATP Tour, Inc. Prior to joining Catalis, Irene was head of HR for a digital tech sports SaaS start up.

Eric Johnson

EVP of Government & Legal Affairs

Eric brings extensive executive experience in government, law, public affairs, and technology to Catalis, where he oversees legal and government affairs. Previously, he served as CEO of a SaaS company acquired by Catalis, Executive Assistant and Deputy Attorney General, and Senior Legal & Government Affairs Strategist for Northwest Airlines, Inc.

Marcus Shaver

SVP of Sales Operations

Marc has 20+ years of experience in the enterprise software space. Focusing primarily on sales, solutions engineering, and sales operations, he has demonstrated success in building dynamic selling teams and driving bookings growth (revenue acquisition) through tools, processes, and training. He currently leads the Sales Operations team at Catalis and most recently worked at Calero Software in a similar role.

Scott Slusser

EVP of Marketing

Scott brings 24 years of sales, marketing, and business development experience in the government industry to the Catalis team. Prior to joining Catalis, Scott was the CMO of Value Payment Systems, a leading provider of payment processing services for governments.

Teresa Yeager

EVP of Public Works & Engagement

Teresa has over 15 years experience in tech and is passionate about SaaS solutions that provide value to Catalis’ municipal clients and developing high performers through a culture of continuous development. She leads the teams responsible for Product, Business Development, Professional Services, Client Success, and Operations in the Public Works & Engagement vertical. Teresa is a past winner of Canada’s automotive top 40 under 40, winner of Canadian Business Excellence Award, and most notably ranked 29th fastest growing women led/owned company in the world in 2022.

Steve Ashbacher

EVP of Tax & CAMA

With over 25 years of experience in enterprise software, Steve brings his passion for delivering innovative products and solutions to Catalis. He leads the teams responsible for Product, Business Development, Professional Services, Client Success, and Operations in the Tax & CAMA Vertical. Prior to his role with Catalis, Steve was Vice President and General Manager for LexisNexis, and VP Field Operations for Wolters Kluwer.

Rick Steirwalt

EVP of Regulatory & Compliance

Rick has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with two decades of experience in fintech and financial services for some of the largest commercial banks, payment companies, and SaaS platforms. He has a long history of creating innovative structures in companies allowing them to operate far more efficiently. Rick leads the team to develop and execute strategies to ensure Catalis delivers exceptional products effectively and efficiently in the Regulatory & Compliance vertical. Previously, Rick founded two companies, raised capital, and took them public as CEO.

Steve Ostroff

EVP of Payments

Steve has over 20 years of experience in general management, product management, and strategy roles in fintech and financial services. He has successfully launched, scaled, and turned around businesses at global fintech companies, venture-funded start-ups, and top tier banks. At Catalis, Steve leads the teams responsible for Product, Business Development, Professional Services, Client Success, and Operations in the Payments Vertical. Prior to joining Catalis, he spent over six years as an executive at Fiserv. Before joining Fiserv, Steve led multiple lines of business at Acculynk, a venture-funded start-up acquired by Fiserv and JPMorgan Chase.

Darin Rasmussen

EVP of Courts & Land Records

Darin has led teams that provide software and research tools to courts, law offices, law enforcement, and educational entities at the state, local, and federal government levels. He is passionate about supporting the courts and the justice system. At Catalis, Darin leads the teams responsible for Product, Business Development, Professional Services, Client Success, and Operations in the Courts & Land Records Vertical. Darin started his career representing state and county government in civil and criminal matters as a state’s attorney and assistant AG in Illinois. In the private sector, he has held a variety of leadership roles with West Group, Thomson Reuters, LT Court Tech, and several educational technology companies.
